Healthcare

Our clients expect accurate healthcare data. We have processes in place to make sure your reporting data are the same from your EMR, EHR, and other sources of patient data. You may also have different systems of records for your patients like Epic, Allscripts, IDX, Cerner and others by virtue of changing vendors or having more than one system to have the best hybrid system to meet your needs. Data can be complex and we can help you tie your systems together. We provide services and tools to help you analyze trends, mine data, and provide meaningful insights with all of your data sets.

 

We have been data mining claims, encounters, ADT, physician notes and any data available to analyze population health for kidney care, chronic heart disease, cancer, diabetes and provide analytics for better outcomes.  Some of our health plan clients have significantly reduced expenses by working with the members' medical team and providing insights about members' conditions through integration of data from different providers, organizations, and carriers.

Forecasting your data is very time consuming. We can assist you with census, labor, operating expenses and come up with models to predict monthly, quarterly, yearly EBITDA as an example. Medicare rates may change and we can accommodate “what if” scenarios in our models to help you plan for any upcoming changes from reimbursement. Labor $ are not static and we can provide some tools to assist managing labor on holidays, weekends, OT, and other events that impact your cost.

Education

PTSI helped educational institutions manage all their data and information, allowing easy access to the most current developments within their sphere. We provided front and back-end support to organize and streamline operations and finances. 

University of Southern CA
We designed, developed and implemented an Enterprise Data Warehouse with operational and ad hoc reporting for GL, PCard, Contracts and Grants, AP, Purchasing, Asset Management, HR, Payroll, and academic analysis.  With 10,000 users on Cognos, the entire University had access to data needed to manage every school.

Orange County Dept of Education
We designed and developed an Enterprise Data Warehouse for the district to manage expenses including labor contract negotiations.  We helped expedite financial decisions by having data and analytics processed everyday which included historical and current data from GL, Budget, and Payroll.

 

Global Data and Analytics Solution

We were part of a team that built 2 of the world’s largest Data Lakehouse. Privacy and security were paramount from day 1 and this was a time before GDPR and privacy laws took effect. Every country or territory had different guidelines on handling consumer data. We designed and built secure architecture in infrastructure, software, and business processes to make sure users in different parts of the world only view data they have privileges to. Even database and system administrators are not able to see all data.

Privacy and security are not challenges to getting data and providing better insights to management. Our processes protect consumer data and yet allow organizations to get insights, improve top and bottom lines, and make prudent business decisions without compromising privacy. 

Our global analytic solutions include on premise or cloud. We can pull and integrate data from various databases, different file formats, cloud or hosted service providers and visualize stories in Tableau, Power BI, Excel and many more.

05/2026. UC AI data preparation for Genie, Copilot and ChatGPT. Integration of Data Fabric and Databricks to have a centralized and governed Semantic layer for PowerBI that can be shared with Genie, Tableau, and ChatGPT

01/2026.  Business process re-design, data pipelines to Databricks, and AI data readiness for Radiology Partners.  Integrated Radancy CRM, ATS, VNDLY, Service Now HCM Workflow, and Workday HCM to get a 360 view of recruiting.  AI Data Preparation for Genie to assist users in getting powerful insights from data rather than waiting for reports/dashboards to be completed.

12/2024. We were tapped by Radiology Partners, a repeat customer, to integrate Workday on Databricks and Analytics.  Workday HCM will be the core people data for Radiologists to drive recruitment, retain the best team mates for W2, Locums, and ICs.

9/2024. We're starting a Data Warehouse project with New England Life Care, a non profit home infusion provider. 

6/2024. We have recently designed a Medallion Data Architecture on Databricks with Healthmap Solutions. Our architecture was a foundation for mining chronic kidney care from claims data.  It was a complex and extensive process to rank patients on the different stages of kidney care by looking at all the diagnoses, procedures, labs, pharmacy, and admission data.

4/2024. We have completed our project with Rezolut to design and build an enterprise data warehouse on Azure.  The company is growing through acquisitions and our design accommodated future growth and new data assets that can be integrated into the data warehouse.  

1/2024. We have been working with CareConnect MD to provide better data insights to high risk Medicare members.  Our architecture on Snowflake included EMR/EHR, Salesforce, and CMS data all tied together.  Patient Outcomes improved through integrated data analytics. 

6/2023. It's been almost a year of working with CareOregon to migrate on prem EDW and build a modern data architecture on Snowflake.  We're proud to accomplish a new architecture that will help the organization service Medicaid patients.
